sort of. you cant install the core gnome2 packages at the same time as core gnome1 packages (here i use core to mean gnome-panel, gnome-session, etc., but not libraries). but you can have both versions of the libraries installed, and can thus run gnome1 and gnome2 apps at the same time. for example, i am typing this message in mutt in a gnome-terminal2 window; at the same time i am browsing the web with galeon (still depends on gnome1). hope this clears up any confusion. -- gram -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
