Thank you for your help. In fact there were libfreetype.so.6 in 2 locations: - in /usr/X11R6/lib with an old version libfreetype.so.6.2 - in /usr/lib with a newer version libfreetype.so.6.3.1 The one in /usr/X11R6/lib shall be removed, it would have been issued from XFree86 4.1, I guess ??
