Christian, Marcelo means the "general case" for whatever key, completely
unrelated to the terminal emulator. Let's say his .gnome has an empty
value for a font in gnome-terminal. Will setting an empty key for the
font in gnome-terminal2 break things? How do we know empty keys won't
break anything? Maybe on some cases the script should test for empty
values and do nothing if so.
