It's really easy to upgrade to gnome2 from unstable following the instructions on http://people.debian.org/~walters/gnome2.html . But today i realized that there doesn't seem to be a really convenient way to upgrade from the experimental gnome2 packages to newer versions in experimental. If you don't want to update all your packages to experimental you have to a dry run of apt-get upgrade to look which packages are newer in experimental and then to explicitely list the gnome packages on an apt-get install line (f.e. apt-get install eog gnome-utils gnome-session).
