I have managed to solve the mystery of my missing CUPS printers in the gnome print dialog. The cups server is configured to require a username and password to access the printer. It appears that, at the moment, gnome print can't deal with this. If user authentication on the CUPS server is disabled then I can see and print to the printer. Are there any ideas on how to get around this without disabling the user authentication on the CUPS server? -- Stewart Jeacocke <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> PGP key http://www.jeacocke.org.uk/2003/stewart/pgp_pubkey
