If you just want to show the main "applications" menu from the gnome-panel, I'd suggest changing a key in gconf: /apps/panel/profiles/default/objects/... Find the correct menu-object and set use_menu_path=true. Wouter (recommends gconf-editor) -- :wq mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] so i'll be your liqour :: demons will drown :: and float away -- placebo
