Try "console=ttyS1" as kernel boot Parameter.

Installing on RP3410 Hello,I’m having issues when trying to install a new
rp3410. On the new cd images I get Branching to kernel entry point 0x000e0000.
If this is the last message you see you may need to switch your console. I’m
using the management console via serial.  I’m not sure what other options there
are to switch to. Using a very old image I can get it to boot into the
installer but it doesn’t detect the cd rom. The difference in early boot is
that it detects the machine as a rp3410 then boots as it should. The ipl
settings are the same with all the images I’ve used. Are there any kernel
parameters I should try in ipl? When I get the console redirect message I get a
red flashing light on the front panel and the machine is unresponsive and even
the management console stops functioning. Given that it boots an older image I
doubt it is hardware related. The only thing I can think of is it trying to
redirect to the vga hardware that isn’t functional on these machines. Any help
would be greatly appreciated. Mike Hosken Sent via my iPhone
