Hi ya,

- FI, mosh should build fine

mosh is not installable on hurd-{amd64,i386} and I filed a FTBFS bug #1130327 against mosh. ;)

- I'm surprised by the 6G limitation on 64b, I'm running a 16G VM

hurd-amd64 was not booting with 8GB RAM a few months ago. I just tried, it turns out that it boots with 16GB but fails with 18GB. ;-;

- tmpfs shouldn't be used, see

Ah, it's not that I actively want to use tmpfs, /run is mounted as tmpfs in Debian and if I leave the VM there running idle for 3 days or so, not doing anything, I can see on tty that /hurd/tmpfs crashes.

- the 128GB limitation on 32b can be avoided by using rumpdisk, see

Thanks, this has been very helpful and I can use all the disk.

Cheers,
