I share your pain. Some maintainers seem to ignore (or depriorize)
them. Sometimes they sit there for months or even years.
That's why I started (in the spirit of bubulle) to runs some l10n NMUs
when are closing torwards a release. It's not what I'm aiming for, but
then I see which maintainers neglect the debconf translations.
