This distribution is definitly wrong. ia64 is only for Intel Itanium
type cpu. This is quite different to Intel Xeon!
So you could try debian sarge-amd64
(http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/sarge-amd64/)
Or the 'normal' ia32 distribution.
If you are unsure please consult an EM64/AMD64 newsgroup or list (there
are some - ask google).
