Hi again, > Thanks again for the troubleshooting and patches. I applied your patch to my > Gentoo (just trying it out I swear!) 2.6.39 system, compiled with KMS on by > default on my zx6000 / RV610 (Radeon HD2400) system.
> [drm:radeon_agp_init] *ERROR* Unable to acquire AGP: -19 > [drm] Forcing AGP to PCIE mode This post http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg15138.html makes me wonder if zx1 AGP GART is compiled into the kernel in Gentoo or as a module (hp_agp.ko) as in "old" Debian releases. I remember for sure that I had to add hp-agp to /etc/modules in the Woody/Sarge era to have AGP support (with NVIDIA Quadro4 980 XGL graphics adapter and NVIDIA 53.36/53.47 proprietary drivers at that time).
