Any suggestions on this? I think having java1-runtime and java2-runtime is meaningless in practice, but the policy calls for them and hsqldb will probably not work with Java <<2 runtime.
---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: Bug#360906: libhsqldb-java: should depend on java-runtime? Date: Wednesday 05 April 2006 14:42 From: Luca Capello <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Package: libhsqldb-java Version: 1.8.0.2-2 Severity: minor Hello, I'd like to completely get rid off the Sun JRE in favor of the GIJ, but I can't, because - libhsqldb-java depends on java2-runtime - gij-4.0 provides java-runtime and java1-runtime only I don't know anything about Java, so I'm not sure where it's the problem: should libhsqldb-java depend on java-runtime or gij-4.0 provide java2-runtime? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
