Hi there, all.
So, I updated a copy of sid that I had here gathering dust
just to see what will come of KDE 2.2.
Well, it was actually very beautiful and I guess that some
friends of mine which have always feared Linux installs will
be able to use it. Everything is very beautiful, in my
opinion.
On the other hand, I'd love to see the KDE 2.2 launch delayed
one or two weeks: some applications (like Konqueror) deserve a
bugfixfest (perhaps like Debians Bug Parties?).
I think that it would be a pity to have KDE 2.2 so attractive
and useful, but unstable burned forever on CDs after woody is
released. :-( I really like KDE and would not feel good with
other people getting the wrong impression from an outlier.
Anyway, just for fun, I'm seeing that Konqueror has consistent
problems trying to open http://www.sexyclube.com.br/ just
after the page entrance. Can others confirm this problem?
Another thing that shows problems consistently with Konqueror
is when I click the middle button of my mouse in Konqueror's
splash screen with the mouse over the KDE.org link.
