Any advantages/disadvantages to doing it this way (with Konstruct) instead of using the CVS debs from http://opendoorsoftware.com/cgi/http.pl?p=kdecvs Just wondering which one would be easier to switch from when KDE leaves beta as far as maintaining settings and such? Brad

No need to not give in! You can run both versions of KDE on a single machine by using the very accessible Konstruct application. You can even set it up to use a different .kde directory as well. To uninstall, all you have to do is delete the package directory and the source directory. http://developer.kde.org/build/konstruct/ On Monday 03 November 2003 03:15 pm, Doug Holland wrote: > On Sun 02 Nov 2003 7:07 pm, Antiphon wrote: > > Most things are relatively stable though Konqueror will crash > > occasionally, esp. on sites with Flash or Java so turn those off if you > > want stability.
