I can solve that one. Install ktssd, I think it's called. The package tries to start the daemon if it isn't running, but since it's not installed, poof. Not that that will get you anywhere, mind you. I still don't have a clue how any of it is supposed to work, and the docs are pretty much unsatisfactory. Looks like they need some kind of simple walkthrough kind of thing. I guess I'll get in touch with whoever wrote it and see if I can understand it, and then maybe write just such a walkthrough.
