Hi I installed fresh debian wheezy kde uefi boot on a fujitsu ps, not a laptop. pm-suspend and pm-hibernate from command line as root work almost perfect, it just doesn't show a password dialog when waking up, but works as expected.
but when trying sleep from kde menu it just looks like trying to start the screensavar , a beeping sound for about a minute and a black screen saying: "freezing of tasks failed after 20.01 seconds ( 1 task refusing to freeze,wq_busy=0)" from here it sometimes comes back and gives me a password dialog and after i type the password the desktop come back but is not very usable. sometimes its just frozen in that line and i have to hard reboot. the hibernate menu just does nothing. I'm dual booting with fedora 18 kde and suspend/hibernate works perfect there. I log into debian xfce session and suspend/hibernate works perfect.
