The boot hang still remains... After getting kernel-source-2.6.8-5 and compiled, my system hangs after printing the following message:
ACPI: Subsystem revision 20040326 It works if I boot with nolapic as a kernel parameter. Feel free to ask me for something else that could help solving this bug. Thanks, Bruno.
