Hi, This is odd. There is no sound when I use KsCD, cdcd, dcd or gnome CD player to play any music CD. However DVD playback sound is fine and so is playing MP3s. I don't see what can be wrong . Any explainations ? My hardware is Dell Inspiron 9400. Sound card/driver is Intel HDA ICH7 chipset/snd_hda_intel driver.
