How does the patented technology in bladeenc affect Debian more than the patented technology in gimp-nonfree? Does some sort of universal grant of rights apply to the LZW patent that is not present for the mp3 technology in bladeenc? I'm confused about why it even belongs in non-us. If else wants to take the package, they're already a developer, and their country doesn't have patent gestapo, I've put my .diff.gz file up at http://osiris.978.org/~brianr/bladeenc_0.81-1.diff.gz -- Brian Ristuccia [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]
