If you are the author of the program, you can distribute the binary and the source under separate, even incompatible, licenses. You could distribute the binary under a conventional license and the source under the GPL. This may of course reduce the demand for the binary. Third parties using GPL'd source must distribute any binaries produced from compiling it under the GPL (which means they must distribute the source too).
