(CC'd to debian-legal since it seems more appropriate for that list - note that I'm not currently subscribed to -legal): If I'm reading this snippet correctly, all it's saying is that the images and other data can't be distributed w/o the GPL'd source code. I'm not entirely sure on whether or not this fits w/the DFSG... glancing thru the DFSG I don't see why it's a problem. Or perhaps I'm misinterpreting the license, the DFSG, or both. Just my $0.02.
