It's the classic BSD advertising clause, which RMS (and many others) have deemed to be incompatible with the GPL, but it shouldn't have gone into non-free for that: the 4-clause BSDL was still DFSG free, there were just issues with the BSDL and the GPL (which have since been resolved by the 3 clause BSDL).
