On a CD accompanying a scanner I found a couple of pictures, and I took
one of them as the basis for anther image I use as an GDM login screen.
The license allows me to do that and to distribute the result, as far as
I can see, but just to be sure, I wanted to ask here. The relevant bit
is:
You may--
-Display, modify, reproduce and distribute any photographs or other artistic
works,
in whole or in part, that are included with the Software, provided such
photographs
or artistic works are not distributed on a stand-alone basis.
The one thing that seems questionable to me is the "not distributed on a
stand-alone
basis" bit. I admit I don't know what is meant.
