I recently came across an example of this, in case anyone's interested: http://bushido.imag.fr/papillon/ConsultInformations.po?docid=1427055&docLang=eng It appears to be a modified version of the LGPL. Clause 3 still refers to the GPL, so it's GPL-compatible. Edmund
