Sure. A good faith attempt was made to resolve this in the past, according to Bill Allombert, and it was ignored. Many courts will not entertain attempts to enforce your rights against a party who has offered to comply. "Submarining" is a trick with patents, not applicable to copyright. This offer was not addressed in this rant. > This was the area I didn't want to go into in an earlier response to > Maynerd's grossly ignorant and misinformed post: I think this childish namecalling illustrates why some developers want to remove Karsten M. Self's work from debian. I'm all for doing the minimum possible to avoid abusive copyright holders. -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only: see http://people.debian.org/~mjr/ Please follow http://www.uk.debian.org/MailingLists/#codeofconduct -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
