Upstream proposes this to solve #695777. This wording looks to me to satisfy GR 2006-001 to allow the gtypist documentation to remain in main. Would you please confirm that for me?

Could that be changed, please? > I'd rather not have to strip the doc from the package. Understood. I have asked higher up and it seems that, since GNU don't publish the gtypist manual on paper, it would be OK for us to remove the invariant section of the licence. So the licence would become: Permission is granted to copy, distribute and/or modify this document under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.3 or any later version published by the Free Software Foundation; with no Invariant Sections, with no Front-Cover Texts, and with no Back-Cover Texts. A copy of the license is included in the section entitled ``GNU Free Documentation License''. Apparently, removing the invariant section of the licence is enough to satisfy Debian's policy. Can you confirm this? And I will make the appropriate changes. -- Tim Marston ed.am _______________________________________________ bug-gtypist mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gtypist -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
