I'm interested in adding some additional lintian checks (in this case, to verify conformance with the OCaml packaging policy).
I was surprised to not find any packages providing "policy plugins" for Perl, Java, Emacs, etc., other than what's provided by lintian itself. Is there any way to specify adding additional directories for checks and collectors, rather than overriding the entire set with the "--root" option? I'd appreciate it if anyone could point me at what I'm missing, as well as any examples, etc. to get started.
