Could lintian also warn about using /etc/init.d/package and start-stop-daemon in other scripts like things in /etc/cron.*, /etc/network/if-up.d/ Not sure if maintainers ship scripts in other dirs, but it would be nice if all such script could be checked, and not just the pre/post inst/rm.
