and my personal opinion is.. i've though long and many times about this, and yet could not come up with a generic but suitable name. choosing 'medium' is suboptimal for netboot/webboot, i really don't like that, but it's better by far than image which almost always doesn't fit. 'medium' is not that catastrophic for netboot/webboot users, and otherwise suitable. assuming nobody else comes up with a perfect generic but suitable name, i'd go with 'medium'.
