Point taken. s/officially/in a more user-friendly manner/. Certainly there are difficulties or bits that have been missed, but mostly I see a wealth of mostly-license-conform opportunities not being promoted. volatile.debian.org could possibly be added to the prior mentioned list of non-standard repositories that the community is not sufficiently aware of.
