Hi,

We are about to rename some packages that are noticed inside the long
description of the med-config package. Shouldn't we remove the package
name notification and reword the description (something more
generical)?

Proposition:

This package provides the basic infrastructure of the Debian Med project.
.
This metapackage provides common features shared between the different
packages of the project.
Moreover it introduces a method to handle a 'med' system users group
using debconf.
.
The Debian Med Project include metapackages for different tasks, which are:
.
 * biological research usage and application developement
 * cloud computing
 * drug databases
 * dental surgery practice
 * epidemiology and medical statistics
 * image processing and imaging application developement
 * pharmacological research
 * radiation oncology, diagnostic imaging and related fields
 * medical practice
 * psychological research and practice
 * typesetting and publishing
 * miscellaneous tools
.
Each tasks are represented by a metapackage. Metapackages are not
executable programs, but only links to other packages. This way you will
conveniently get all the non-commercial medical software which is available
for Debian GNU/Linux.

Eric
