Probably you want to read this Wiki page https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/community/MoM/-/wikis/Mentoring-of-the-Month-(MoM) ;-) As a first step I have unarchived https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/ctk I also did the following * Point Homepage and Source to Github * Add watch file and remove get-orig-source script since its unneeded most other changes are automated by lintian-brush routine-update I think its a *very good lesson* in learning clean Debian packaging to inspect every single commit. Your first step in the MoM-project could be to ask detailed question if some of the commits are not clear to you. Next steps are most probably (in no specific order) - Replace the Uploaders field in d/control by your ID - Check SOVERSION and rename libctk0.1 accordingly - Fix build issues - you can find a log in Salsa CI https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/ctk/-/pipelines/1148914 - optional but very interesting: Write autopkgtest I'd be very happy if we would manage to get this package back together.
