To access further information about this package, please visit the
following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/budgie-extras/

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command:

  dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/b/budgie-extras/budgie-extras_2.2.1-1.dsc

Changes since the last upload:

 budgie-extras (2.2.1-1) experimental; urgency=medium
 .
   * New upstream release
     - Add budgie-screencast-applet (LP: #2143082)
     - drop all previous patch since it has been incorporated in this
       release
     - Remove budgie-trash source since it is obsolete and the Apache-2 license
       conflicts with GPL-2
     - wayland compatibility for various applets
     - for X11 applets these become transitional packages
     - hotcorners has become a transitional package (Closes: #1092933)
   * switch to budgie gir 3.0 and remove debhelper, libbudgie-plugin0
     (Closes: #1120138)
   * Build with peas-2
   * Use multiarch location for installs not hard-coded paths
   * remove conffiles via package.conffiles with remove-on-upgrade
   * add libgtk-layer-shell-dev
   * d/control switch Vcs to budgie-extras-debian with gbp buildpackage
     compatibility
   * d/control remove obsolete Requires-Root and Priority statements
   * Transition package for showtime and workspace-wallpaper applets
     These now install their widget equivalents - i.e.
     budgie-showtime-widget and budgieworkspace-wallpaper-widget
   * Packaging Changes:
     d/control add budgie-screencast-applet packaging
      drop libplank-dev
     wrap-and-sort -bst

Notes:
  I am the DM for this package. This package has been restructured
switching from X11 to Wayland. In doing this, some binaries are no
longer wayland compatible - these have become transitional packages.
Some binary package names have been updated to reflect budgie-desktop
conventions for raven widgets. The previous package name have become
transitional with a link to the new package name. This will aid
upgraders from trixie to forky.

Taken together these result in NEW package names and must go through ftp-master

I've run licenserecon lrc -s with these results

en: Versions: licenserecon '11.0' licensecheck '3.3.9-1ubuntu2'

Parsing Source Tree  ....
Reading d/copyright  ....
Running licensecheck ....

No significant differences found

I finally figured out why I was having trouble with building
budgie-extras recently.

You set "builder" in debian/gbp.conf. According to the manpage, it
overrides my ~/.gbp.conf and I instead need to use a local
.git/gbp.conf to override that.

Nothing I was doing was working because I didn't realize that any
tweaks I did to the builder line weren't being used. Please remove
that builder line from debian/gbp.conf.

I'm closing this bug because I am uploading budgie-extras as of
ef6b9b9e6d993d6e483989a64777b5ec8246a253 to Debian's NEW queue now.

Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha
