Hi,

A short status update for ITP #1151422 and RFS #1151425. There is a new
upstream experimental snapshot with an optional lossless UI-pixel layer
above the existing WebRTC video:

https://github.com/rdmitry0911/qsm-rd/releases/tag/v0.4.0-qsm-direct-20261027-exact-ui-exp6

This is a runtime/development snapshot, not a new Debian source upload.
The signed Debian review source remains 0.4.0+20261020-0exp1 at:

https://github.com/rdmitry0911/qsm-rd/releases/tag/v0.4.0-debian-contrib-20261020-review2

Its prior Lintian/build/autopkgtest results apply to that frozen review
source, not automatically to the new snapshot. The latter adds zlib1g-dev
as a build dependency and zlib1g at runtime, alongside code and unit tests
for the optional tile path. I would keep the first archive review focused
on the existing source, or rebase it after a reviewer advises on scope.
No upload to Debian has taken place. Independent human review and a Debian
Developer upload sponsor are still needed. Proxmox runtime dependencies
remain the reason for proposing contrib.

For the experimental implementation, 27 CTest gates and 83 bridge tests
pass; live mixed-content coverage is currently LXC/Firefox/H.264 and does
not establish VM/HEVC or RDP-equivalent behavior. It is off by default and
is not promoted into the normal signed APT preview. The release documents
remaining refinement/occlusion limits and its narrower validation scope.

Project sponsor: Takt, https://taktcycles.com/ (separate from Debian upload
sponsorship).

Thanks,
Dmitry
