Thanks for your support, John. Maintaining this package is a big challenge at times, but it is very satisfying when I finally get it right. The RPM packager has had to give up altogether on automatic upgrading. This particular transition (7.2.3 to 7.3) has been a major effort and I'm sorry that a lot of people have been hit by bugs in it. I hope we're just about done with them now, with 7.3rel-7. Let me again invite people who want to assist with testing and developing postgresql's packaging to subscribe to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and announce yourselves (subscribe at https://mailman.atnet.at/mailman/listinfo/debian-postgresql) Someone suggested I include debian-mentors in the appeal, which was a good idea, so if there are any new or would-be maintainers who would like to get involved with a rather complex package, here's an opportunity. -- Oliver Elphick [EMAIL PROTECTED] Isle of Wight, UK http://www.lfix.co.uk/oliver GPG: 1024D/3E1D0C1C: CA12 09E0 E8D5 8870 5839 932A 614D 4C34 3E1D 0C1C ======================================== "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD."
