Ignoring for now the anomaly of closing a wontfix bug, which Kumar has already addressed, this is what I would send to achieve this result. Rationale: 567196-done closes the bug and copies the submitter, your existing CC is fine, and [email protected] will process the commands at the top of the email. Your longer explanation will be ignored by it, but the whole thing will be recorded in the BTS for time eternal. > ----v---- > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected], [email protected] > Subject: alternative accepted by submitter > > tag 567192 wontfix > thanks > > <longer explanation> > ----^---- HTH, -- Jonathan Wiltshire 1024D: 0xDB800B52 / 4216 F01F DCA9 21AC F3D3 A903 CA6B EA3E DB80 0B52 4096R: 0xD3524C51 / 0A55 B7C5 1223 3942 86EC 74C3 5394 479D D352 4C51 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
