I think my position has been adequately explained by myself and others in this thread, but in short: Debian has made various promises to our users and the wider free software community. Among them is DFSG item two. In the case of git2cl you appear to not be willing to take the appropriate action to ensure that Debian continues to keep this promise. As a member of Debian I have agreed and promised to uphold the Social Contract and the Debian Free Software Guidelines.
