There is backward compatibility with glibc 2.0 /2.2 - So we can upload the 2.0 packages. I am currently not able to even build glibc 2.2 so i think it might take a bit until it stabelizes - We should start build glibc 2.2 packages as soon as there are glibc 2.2. source packages for debian (Wil come after potato is released).
