Config option for serial output

Hello,

Which option in the kernel config controls the output to the serial console
during boot ?

I compiled a 2.6.9 kernel for Cobalt Qube 2 and when I boot the machine
I have output from colo but when the "elf xxxx" line start the output stops
until
I can login.
