That didn't make a difference, and I tried it with console=d also, as
described at
http://techpubs.sgi.com/library/tpl/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?cmd=getdoc&coll=0650&db=man&fname=1%20prom
and now it won't give me a prom console on serial at all. It still boots
etch automatically, so is there some way to change the nvram variables
from inside linux or will I have to set the password reset jumper? The
etch installer worked fine the way it was, so does the lenny installer
need some additional argument for serial or something? Do arguments
after the tftp filename go to the debian installer like:
boot -f bootp():/netboot-boot.img console=ttyS0 ?
