I have personally worked with John Paul Adrian Glaubitz <[email protected]> <F5B5F913> since 2005, first in the system administration unit of the Department of Physics at the Freie Universitaet Berlin and later on other projects. I know Adrian can be trusted to have full, unsupervised, unrestricted upload to the archive right now. He has got good experience in Debian packaging, as our unit packages a lot of proprietary software for deployment on the 1000+ debian machines in the department (desktops, servers and HPC Cluster). Adrian contributed to FAI upstream, the auto-installation/software management system used in the department, and behaved responsibly maintaining the department's FAI/Debian configuration and software repository. Adrian has great experience testing and coordinating the large-scale migration to new releases, and filed a lot of useful bug reports also on this basis.
