Hello, I recommend to accept Michael Fladischer as a new Debian Developer, uploading. The account name is fladi.
* Applicant background My first GNU/Linux distribution that I came into contact was RedHat 4, back when I was a student at a Federal Higher Technical Institute. This was back in 1999 and I was 17 at this time. A classmate told me of something called Linux which had recently made it's 2.x release. My first installation was a router for our dial-up connection for which I configured NAT with ipchains. I was astonished by how simple and effective the whole process of installation and configuration was. This made me explore other software that came with the distribution and I started writing my own software using Perl and PHP. After graduating I started my first full-time job as a PHP developer for a small company, building accounting applications. After a short period, where I worked as a C developer, I started as a system administrator at a newly founded Austrian university in 2005, where I still work as a senior administrator and developer. Starting with this position, I wanted to become active within the distribution, that was the basis for my daily work: GNU/Debian. My first goal for my contribution to Debian was the inclusion of the celery stack, which I finished within my first year, thanks to so many helpful people within the project, especially the Debian Python Modules Team. Over the following years, I continued to package software, most of it related to the Python Django ecosystem. At some point in 2012, I was approached by several of my sponsors if I would like to apply for DM status, and in December 2013 my application was granted. My motivation for becoming a DD is simply to lend Debian a helping hand where needed, maintaining packages and to bring high-quality work into Debian.
