We already do, but I would be lying if I said this makes me comfortable as a general trend. Note: I have nothing against "unit 193" specifically, this is a general issue. So, I am *not* speaking against his/her acceptance as a DM or DD. I would be comfortable enough with pseudonym use by DMs as long as the DAMs and project leader know their real identities (and that said identities were verified). IMHO, it is also acceptable for that information to be kept permanently private and known only to the DAMs and project leaders, but it does need to be forwarded to new DAMs and project leaders. i.e. something like the policy described in: https://lists.debian.org/debian-newmaint/2009/07/msg00044.html Even with such provisions, I feel pseudonyms ought to be kept as rare exceptions, reserved to those that *prove* (to the project leader and DAMs) to have very good, very strong reasons to *need* to keep their real world identities hidden. -- "One disk to rule them all, One disk to find them.
