I am the ftpadministrator of our ftp-site and we mirror debian on a daily basis. I use the following lines in /etc/apt/sources: deb ftp://146.232.128.14/debian/non-US woody/non-US main contrib non-free deb ftp://146.232.128.14/debian woody main contrib non-free deb ftp://146.232.128.14/debian woody-proposed-updates main contrib non-free deb ftp://146.232.128.14/debian/non-US woody-proposed-updates/non-US main contrib non-free deb-src ftp://146.232.128.14/debian unstable main contrib non-free deb-src ftp://146.232.128.14/debian/non-US sid/non-US main contrib non-free deb ftp://146.232.128.14/mirrorsites/security.debian.org/ stable/updates main contrib non-free The 146.232.128.14 network card is inside our firewall. From outside you can use 146.232.65.10 if you want to check that. I just made sure that I did not install an old .deb lying in /var/cache/apt by doing apt-get clean. However I got the same log and error as yesterday.
