Ehr... the bug report I filed was mainly about the mistaken load-path, which you already fixed, I would have set `Severity: wishlist' otherwise. Maybe I should have filed two independent bug with different severity levels? :-) There's another possibility: just put one file in /etc/emacs/site-start.d/ with a big `if' or `cond' form (on debian-emacs-flavor) surrounding the actual code. This is obviously up to you: I would prefer just one file, rather than two otherwise identical ones differing in just one form (setq load-path ...), but YMMV.
