It's my personal feeling that all X applications,  libraries,  headers,
and everything else (with the possible exception of the few X config files
that reside in /etc) should be in /usr/X11R6,  because  a machine that 
remote mounts /usr/X11R6 also gets all  _the_correct_versions_ of the X
programs it'll run that way, rather than having local, 
possibly-incompatable versions in /usr/bin.
