Actually, I have. COAS has some drawbacks: it's development is seems very slow, the mailinglist has no messages except for people complaining about how to compile it, and it needs all modules to be written in c++ or python. After looking at it I decided it'll probably be vapourware for a long time, and not immediately usefull after that as well.
