Dear all, tks for help to all, i get my X 4.1.x working and the solution was XF86Config-4 from Koos. i compared my old config-file (dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86) with the one from Koos and this are the differences:
- less Modules selected (Koos file) - commented out the Pci-BusID (Koos file) - commented out all Modes in section screen (Koos file) now, my x is not accelerated (fbdev-driver). i dont understand why the ati-driver dont work, cause he would fit my "ati lt pro card" perfectly. any idea why ati-driver in testing dont work? greez::ro:: On Tue, May 28, 2002 at 12:10:59PM -0700, Jaime cristerna Avila wrote: > Roger, > > I came across this thread on May 20th when I was trying to install Debian > 2.2r6 on my Wallstreet PowerBook G3, Family Number M4753. So, this is a comment for the 3.3.6 version of X or 4.1.x? If it's 4.1.x, then you should probably submit this as a bug to xserver-xfree86. If it's the old version, well maybe Branden will tell us here, but I suspect since there will be no further revisions to that version of X, it would do no good to submit a bug. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
