yup. thanks for those bugs: it confirms my thought that dpkg --print-architecture is fragile and having CC="ccache gcc" confused it. for the record, it wasn't hte chroot that was getting confused, but rather the -none confused the process of finding the Release file from the mirror. thanks ==rob -- Rob Latham Chicago, IL USA
