It's not being built with -mnative as far I could tell from the logs. But you can verify whether this is the case or not by building the Debian package on your local machine: $ apt-get install devscripts $ dget -u https://deb.debian.org/debian/pool/main/libf/libffi/libffi_3.4.2-2.dsc $ apt-get build-dep libffi $ cd libffi-3.4.2 $ dpkg-buildpackage -B The resulting packages will be found in the parent folder.
